About the World Transformation Movement
The World Transformation Movement is a registered not-for-profit organisation, with the aims of understanding and ameliorating the human condition, the human condition being humans’ seemingly contradictory capacity for both ‘good’ and ‘evil’. In particular the World Transformation Movement recognises the breakthrough biological treatise on the human condition put forward by Australian biologist Jeremy Griffith, who maintains that understanding the cause of our angry, egocentric and alienated behaviour—namely a conflict between our original instincts and acquired conscious intellect—is the key to rehabilitating and transforming the human race.
Jeremy’s work is multi-disciplinary, drawing from the physical sciences, biology, anthropology and primatology as well as philosophy, psychology and psychiatry. Since 1988, Jeremy has authored more than six publications on the human condition, including the 2003 Australasian bestseller A Species In Denial and 2016’s FREEDOM: The End Of The Human Condition.

The World Transformation Movement works tirelessly to promote this explanation of the human condition to ensure its now desperately needed psychologically liberating and transforming effects reach every human. Indeed, it is called the World Transformation Movement because the most marvellous effect of having understanding of the human condition is that all our species’ psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated behaviour can now, immediately, be put aside, and eventually, over a few generations, completely disappear, thus bringing about the complete rehabilitation and transformation of the human race and thus of our planet. (You can read more about the World Transformation Movement and Jeremy’s explanation of the human condition at www.humancondition.com.)
Why does the World Transformation Movement go to so much effort to provide sources?
No new concept is as revolutionary as the arrival of understanding of the human condition. In fact, what is being introduced is not just a new concept, it is a whole new way of viewing our world—a new paradigm—and one that could not be more different to, and more confronting of the old paradigm. Indeed, what is being introduced brings the real ‘culture shock’, ‘future shock’, ‘brave new world’, ‘tectonic shift’ humanity has long anticipated. Because this arena is so contentious, and such a shock, Jeremy is scrupulous in ensuring that every concept or step in his chain of logic has a supporting reference or quote from science or culture. And because these references are so important, unlike most publications, there is no bibliography at the conclusion of Jeremy’s publications because the source is provided in small text at the end of each quote. While unconventional, it does mean that the reader will always have the benefit of being able to immediately see when, where and by whom the quote was given. And since information accessed on the internet is not static or guaranteed to remain online, Jeremy and the World Transformation Movement have acted to preserve all web-based sources by creating this dedicated source ‘library’, www.WTMSources.com. This facility allows readers to access and check material and data cited from a primary source in perpetuity.
